asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that Private James Treacy, Omeath, Dundalk Command, late of the National Army, No. 3141, and whose present address is New Row, Naas, Co. Kildare, received a letter on February 2nd, 1924, saying that his claim would be paid forthwith, but that no remittance has since been received, and whether he will make enquiries, with a view to payment.
CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CO. KILDARE CLAIM.
I am communicating with Mr. Treacy regarding his claim, and will let the Deputy know the result in due course.
