WRITTEN ANSWERS. - CLOUGHJORDAN ARMY ACCOUNT.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Defence if he will take steps to expedite payment of the sum of £193 0s. 10d., due to Mr. William Bowe, Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary, for foodstuffs supplied to the National Army in June, 1923.

No claim for the amount mentioned has been received from Mr. Bowe, but an account amounting to £50 5s. 8d. for the period February-August, 1923, has been received. Arrangements have been made for its early settlement.
