Vol. 7 No. 12

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - COMMANDEERING OF MOTOR BICYCLE.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that in July, 1922, a motor bicycle was commandeered by Lieut. Byrne from Terence Purcell, Ballymore-Eustace; that the motor went out of order and was left in Naas Barracks; that when the owner came to the barracks for the motor bicycle he found the principal parts removed, that it was afterwards removed to Collins Barracks, along with other broken down motors, and whether he will see that Mr. Purcell is fairly compensated.

No claim appears to have been received at Headquarters. Mr. Purcell is being communicated with on the matter.
