Vol. 7 No. 24

CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - ATHLONE SHOOTING.—CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION.

SEÁN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that Patrick Murray, Mace, Rathowen, Westmeath, has not received compensation in respect of his son, who was shot in Athlone on October 10th, 1922; whether, seeing that the applicant is in poor circumstances, owing to the loss of his son, he will expedite payment.

A gratuity of £50 was awarded to Mr. Murray, and a cheque for this amount was cashed by him on the 21st ultimo.
