INTOXICATING LIQUOR BILL, 1924 (SECOND STAGE). - AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (EGGS) BILL, 1924.—FIFTH STAGE.

MINISTER for LANDS and AGRICULTURE (Mr. Hogan)

I move the following amendment:—

In page 2, Section 2, line 19, to delete the word "words" and to insert in lieu thereof the word "expression." The section would then read: "the expression Minister means the Minister for Lands and Agriculture."

That, at least, will be good grammar.

I also move the following amendment:—

In page 3, Section 4 (1) (d), line 53, after the words "intended for" to insert the word "export," and in line 54 to delete the comma after the word "being."

That is merely a verbal amendment.

Amendment agreed to.

Question—"That the Bill, as amended, do now pass"—put and agreed to.
