Vol. 8 No. 10

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BLIND PENSION (CO. LONGFORD).

SEAN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that Mrs. Bridget Greene, Pound Street, Edgeworthstown. Co. Longford, who was in receipt of a blind pension, was notified by the Pension Officer on the 13th June, 1924, that her pension would be reduced, and if he will state the grounds for this reduction.

I have no functions in old age pension cases unless they come before me on appeal, but, as regards this case, I would refer the Deputy to the information given in the second paragraph of my reply to Deputy Hall to-day. I am not aware of any other proposed reduction.
