asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the future use of the North Dublin Union Buildings.
CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - FUTURE OF NORTH DUBLIN WORKHOUSE.
The question of the future use of these buildings is at present engaging the attention of the Commissioners, who are considering their suitability for housing purposes. It is understood that an estimate of £47,000 for carrying out the work was received but was deemed excessive and the matter is being investigated further. I will inform the Deputy of any developments.
