asked the Minister for Defence whether an application has been made by Mr. P. Durkin, of Tubbercurry, County Sligo, for back pay unpaid between 1st August, 1922, and 16th September, 1922, and, if so, when this application will be dealt with.
WRITTEN ANSWERS. - CLAIM FOR ARREARS OF PAY.
An application for back pay does not appear to have been received from Mr. P. Durkin. I would add that it is not practicable under regulations to entertain an application of the kind received after the 1st December last. Furthermore, records are available which show that Mr. Durkin was duly paid for at least portion of the period mentioned by the Deputy.
