Vol. 10 No. 15

CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PRE-TRUCE GLASGOW PURCHASES.

asked the Minister for Defence if he has received a claim from Mr. David O'Hagan, Glasgow, for £415 4s. 1d., representing amounts advanced to Messrs. Henry Coyle, Seán Nelson, and Patrick Murray, who were acting as purchasing agents for the Irish Volunteers in Glasgow in pre-Truce days; also for an amount, with receipted vouchers, paid for legal and other expenses in connection with the trial of Irish prisoners, and if he can now state when he will be in a position to authorise payment of whatever amount is due in this case.

Mr. O'Hagan's claim has been received and is being forwarded to the Secretary, Claims Committee (Indemnity Act), 1924, Department of Finance, Government Buildings, who is being requested to have its consideration expedited.
