Vol. 10 No. 22

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - CLAIM FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT.

SEAN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can state why unemployment benefit has not been paid to Thomas Dalton, Packenham Road, Castlepollard, Westmeath, an ex-member of the National Army, who has been signing at the Labour Exchange, Mullingar, for eleven weeks, and whether inquiries will be made into the case with a view to payment of benefit.

I have been unable, in the time at my disposal, to make the necessary inquiries in this case. Investigation is, however, proceeding and I will communicate the result to the Deputy.
