Vol. 11 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - NAAS EX-SOLDIER'S PENSION.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that a disablement pension of 8s. 4d. per week has not been paid since November, 1924, to Volunteer Thomas Hughes, of Fair Green, Naas, Co. Kildare, Army No. 44196, 16th Infantry Battalion; that Mr. Hughes is still disabled and unable to work, and whether he will expedite payment of arrears and give instructions that regular payment of pension be made in future.

All arrears due to Mr. Hughes have now been paid. He is about to be medically re-examined, and the question of continuing the pension will depend on the result of the examination.
