I regret that as malting barley does not appear as a separate description on the official import list, in which all barley is included under one heading, figures are not available as to the quantity imported.
The quantities and value of barley and malt respectively imported in 1924 and 1925 can be ascertained from the published trade statistics. I have had a summary of the figures prepared which I can furnish to the Deputy.
We got only the August returns this morning. Up to what date can the Minister furnish the figures?
