Vol. 14 No. 14

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ARTHURSTOWN (WEXFORD) APPLICATION.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state why payment of unemployment benefit is not being paid to Mary Carey, Kilhile, Arthurstown, Co. Wexford.

A claim to unemployment benefit made by Mary Carey, of Kilhile, Arthurstown, Co. Wexford, on the 24th November, 1925, was disallowed by the insurance officer in accordance with Section 7 (1) (iii) on the ground that the claimant was incapable of work. The claimant was duly notified of the disallowance and of her right of appeal to the court of referees within twenty-one days. She has not appealed from the decision and the claim therefore remains disallowed.
