I move for leave to introduce, and have printed and circulated, the Increase of Rent and Mortgage Interest (Restrictions) Bill, 1926. It is a Bill to continue and amend the Increase of Rent and Mortgage Interest (Restrictions) Act of 1923. The 1923 Act is due to expire on 24th June this year, and this Bill proposes to extend the operations of that Act for a further three years, with certain modifications.
