IN COMMITTEE ON FINANCE. - VOTE 44—HOSPITALS AND CHARITIES

I move:—

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £1,728 chun slánuithe na suime is gá chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá dé Mhárta, 1927, chun éilithe mar gheall ar Capidéil agus Otharlanna agus Liúntaisí áirithe Ilghnéitheacha Déirciúla agus eile, maraon le hIldeontaisí i gCabhair.

That a sum not exceeding £1,728 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1927, for Charges connected with Hospitals and Infirmaries, and certain Miscellaneous Charitable and other Allowances, including sundry Grants-in-Aid.

The principal charges dealt with in this Vote are statutory, and for a very long period they have not been either increased or decreased. I explained them fully last year and the year previous, and I do not think they call for any statement from me now.
