Vol. 16 No. 17

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BANDON COURTHOUSE.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware of the great delay in restoring the Courthouse in Bandon, Co. Cork, of the abnormal unemployment prevailing in the town, and of the oft-repeated complaints of inconvenience made by members of the legal profession and the District Justice, and whether his Department will take steps to have the necessary reconstruction work begun by raising the matter with the proper authority.

I have no information as to the position in regard to Bandon Courthouse but I am asking for a report on the matter from the local authority. No complaints have reached the Department as to the inadequacy of the accommodation for the holding of courts in Bandon.
