Vol. 18 No. 8

ORDUITHE AN LAE. - TELEPHONE CAPITAL BILL, 1927—COMMITTEE.

Bill passed through Committee without amendment.
Bill reported without amendment.

If there is no objection from any part of the House I would like to take the remaining two stages on Friday. The reason I ask is that the money that was being employed for telephone extension has run out, and it would be desirable to have the Bill passed as soon as possible.

There are one or two points under consideration which may have to be dealt with on Report, and, if it is not straining things too much, I would prefer to have the Bill deferred until Tuesday.

Very well. I would like to have the Report and Final Stages on Tuesday.

Report Stage ordered for Tuesday, 1st March.
