Portion of the Tolka river scheme concerned in the petition transmitted to the Commissioners of Public Works by the Meath County Council extends into County Dublin, and it will be necessary before consideration of the proposal can proceed that a petition be also approved by the County Council of that county and submitted to the Commissioners in accordance with the provisions of the Act. One of the petitioners was written to to this effect on 17th November, 1925, but so far as the Commissioners are aware, no further action has been taken.
