Vol. 20 No. 16

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - GING ESTATE (CO. DUBLIN).

asked the Minister for Fisheries if he is aware that the allottees on the Ging Estate, Co. Dublin, have refused to occupy the lands apportioned to them on the grounds that the annuities fixed were uneconomic; that the lands are idle, and what steps the Minister is willing to take to meet the case as laid before his Department.

Some of the proposed allottees for these lands refused parcels on the grounds that the annuities were high. The parcels have since been allotted to other persons. No portion of the lands comprised in the estate is idle.

Have all the lands been allotted?
