Vol. 20 No. 20

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ARMY ACCOUNTS (COUNTY WEXFORD).

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that application for payment for goods supplied by Mr. R. Rackard, Killanne, Co. Wexford, to troops of the 13th and 14th Units operating from Brigade Headquarters, Enniscorthy, in October, 1922. has been made, and the amount of £3 4s. 11d. has not yet been paid; if he will state if there is any reason for the non-payment, and if not, whether he will take steps to expedite the settlement of the account.

There does not appear to be any record in my Department of the receipt of a claim from Mr. Rackard of Killanne, Co. Wexford. If, however, the Deputy will furnish me with the names of the individuals to whom the goods were supplied, the nature of the goods, and the authority on which they were supplied, I will have the claim investigated with the least possible delay.

I can supply the Minister with the bill. Is that good enough?
