The Saorstát, Canada, South Africa and Australia were represented at the Naval Conference in June. The object of the Conference was the limitation of naval armaments, and the policy of the Saorstát was to aid by every means in the completion of an agreement which should promote the interests of world peace, and strengthen the friendly relations existing between the United States and the nations of the Commonwealth.

Can the Minister assure the House that there was no question at the Conference of the Free State Navy being reduced?

No, there was not.
