Vol. 21 No. 3

PUBLIC BUSINESS. - MOTION RE UNEMPLOYMENT.

Before the business proceeds, may I ask if it is the intention to take the motion which stands in my name to-day?

It was my intention to ask the Deputy to agree to a postponement of the motion for a week.

If I were to agree to that, would the President agree to give Government time for its discussion?

Certainly. We will give a full day if the Deputy wishes.

Would the President name a day?

Would the Deputy name a day?

Wednesday next.

Very well.

Is it clear that the motion in Deputy Morrissey's name will be taken after questions on Wednesday next?

To the exclusion of any other business?

Yes, except, of course, First Readings.
