asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he can state if the Land Commission have acquired Oakport Demesne, Kingston Estate, Cootehall, Boyle, and if so, when it is proposed to divide same, and if prior claim will be given in the sub-division to the uneconomic holders and landless young men in the area.

The Land Commission have not acquired Oakport Demesne, on the Kingston Estate, Cootehall, Boyle; but the question of the acquisition of the lands is at present under consideration, and if acquired the claims of all suitable persons for parcels thereof will receive full consideration when the lands are being divided.
