asked the President whether any compensation has been paid or offered to the relatives of the Republican prisoners killed at Ballyseedy, Countess Bridge, and Bahaghs, County Kerry, in March, 1923; and, if so, what was the amount.

Compensation was paid in one case to the family of a prisoner killed at Ballyseedy. The sum of £400 was paid to the widow and monthly allowances of 35/- are being paid in respect of each of her five children until they reach the age of sixteen years.
