Vol. 21 No. 18

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ROAD ACCOMMODATION IN KERRY.

asked the Minister for Fisheries if he is aware that there are upwards of thirty householders in Cromane, near Killorglin, Co. Kerry, who have no road leading to their houses; if he is also aware that these householders, being of the half-fishermen, half-cottier type, are in dire distress, and if so, whether he will take steps, in pursuance of the general powers vested in the Land Commission, to provide these poor people with a road so as to give them reasonable access to the market, as well as to give them much-needed employment which would help to tide them over the winter.

The representations made in regard to the construction of the road referred to will be placed before the Minister for Finance for consideration.
