The lands held by the Kilmaine Co-operative Farming Society became vested in the Land Commission on 21st July, 1925, and are being dealt with in accordance with the provision of the Land Act, 1927. The proceedings for the division of the lands are being expedited, but have not yet reached the stage at which it is possible to say if the divisions will be allocated in time for tillage this season.
