Vol. 22 No. 6

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - UNTENANTED LAND (KILDARE).

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether the Land Commission has made inquiries as to the suitability of eight farms of untenanted land containing about 677 acres, in the townlands of Craddockstown, Painstown, Killeenbeg, Kill, Baltracy, and Newtown-Baltracy, electoral divisions of Kill and Rathmore, County Kildare, held by the late Simon Donnelly and Miss Bridget Donnelly, for distribution amongst the forty-one congests in the area whose names, with particulars of their uneconomic holdings, were furnished to the Department.

The Land Commission have directed an Inspector to make inquiries as regards the lands referred to in the question, all of which have already been bought out under the Land Acts and are subject to Land Purchase annuities.
