asked the Minister for Education (a) whether the Departmental Committee which has been inquiring into the system of National Education. including the conditions of service of lay professors in training colleges, has yet issued its report, and, if so, when it will be placed on the Table of the Dáil; whether this Departmental Committee has made any recommendation with reference to the provision of pensions for lay professors in training colleges, and (b) if so, what action the Minister intends to take with regard to this recommendation.
