asked the Minister for Defence whether he is now in a position to state what advice was given by the State law officers concerning certain statutory considerations bearing on the incidence of maintenance of public roads; and whether his Department, as successors to the British War Department, intend to honour the agreement reached with the late grand jury of the Co. Kildare in the years 1893 and 1894, by which the War Department were bound to repair and maintain the Lurrig Lane and Curragh eastern boundary roads.
