asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that Mr. Patrick Duffy, Bellisker, Brickens, Claremorris, obtained a decree for £75 compensation in respect of cash taken from his shop by Crown Forces on December 18th, 1919; and if he will state the cause of delay in the payment of that decree.

This decree was reviewed by the Compensation (Ireland) Commission who ruled that the claim was not within the scope of their terms of reference and accordingly no payment can be made.
