Mr. BRODERICK

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he can state (1) the names of the woollen mills that received contracts for the manufacture of cloth for the Defence Forces in the year 1927-28; and (2) the number of yards of cloth specified in each contract.

During the financial year 1927-28 cloth for the Defence Forces was obtained from the following firms in the quantities shown:—
