Vol. 23 No. 10

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CORK POSTAL DELIVERY.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he will facilitate commercial and business people, and tourists by making arrangements to have letters which are posted in Killarney on week mornings delivered in Cork on the day of posting.

Mails despatched by the first train for Cork leaving Killarney at 8.47 a.m. would not arrive at Cork in time to fall into the last delivery of letters the same day, which commences at 11.55 a.m., and the circumstances would not warrant the postponement of the hour of that delivery or the establishment of an additional delivery.
