Vol. 23 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - KERRY OLD AGE PENSION CASE.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he can state why Thomas McGreevy, Tarbert, Co. Kerry, is receiving only 2/- per week old age pension; whether the Minister is aware that he is in very poor circumstances; and whether steps will be taken to increase the amount to 9/-.

No appeal has come before me in this case, and I have therefore no information in regard to it. I have, however, referred the matter to the Revenue Commissioners, who are making inquiries, and may be in a position to reply to the Deputy at an early date.
