Vol. 23 No. 20

CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - THE CONTAGIOUS DISEASES OF ANIMALS ACT.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether he will state the name of the person appointed as secretary under the Contagious Diseases of Animals Act in Cork county; his salary for such office; by whom he is appointed; his years of service in that office, and whether the position is pensionable.

Any inquiry in regard to the post in question should be addressed to the Cork County Council.

Seeing that we can get no information from these Ministers as regards the salaries of these officials, and seeing that the Cork County Council, although it is only liable for a salary of £480 a year, will, when this gentleman is pensioned off, have to pay him a pension of anything from £1,000 to £1,500 out of the rates, I think we are at least entitled to information here.

You can get it from the Cork County Council.
