As regards the first part of the Deputy's question, I propose to have printed in the Official Report a tabular statement giving the particulars asked for.
As regards the second part of the Deputy's question, I have no definite information showing the actual number of unemployed in each area at the time of the allocation of the grant. Before making any grant, however. I took steps to satisfy myself that distress or unemployment prevailed in the area in which it was proposed to spend the grant.
