Vol. 25 No. 2

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - COUNTY LIMERICK ESTATES.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he can state what action has been taken in connection with the Colonel Roche Kelly Estate, known as Rockstown and Ballybricken, County Limerick; and whether the Land Commission intend to acquire these lands for distribution among small holders in the locality.

The Land Commission do not propose to acquire the lands referred to.

asked the Minister for Fisheries whether he will state what action has been taken by the Land Commission since February, 1927, in connection with the acquisition of the estate of Claude V. Clery, Mitchelstowndown, County Limerick; whether an inspector of his Department inspected this estate; and if so, whether he can state the nature of the inspector's report.

The lands on the estates of Morgan O'Brien and Michael Sheehan (formerly Claude V. Clery) have been published in Provisional Lists of lands which will, if not excluded in consequence of a valid objection, vest in the Land Commission.

Objections have been lodged in both cases and are pending for hearing in Court before the Commissioners.
