The number of persons claiming Unemployment Insurance Benefit at the Dundalk Unemployment Exchange on the 12th November, 1928, was 321, which included 241 men and boys, and 80 women and girls.
On the same date the number of persons who were registered for employment but were not claiming Unemployment Insurance Benefit was 502, including 395 men and boys, and 107 women and girls.
