Could the Minister give any indication now as to the date of the introduction of the proposed amending Bill referred to in the question?
I cannot give the exact date. I hope it will be within a month.
I would like to ask the Minister if it would be correct to state that the committee of inquiry set up by the Government to inquire into the claims of the ex-Connaught Rangers made recommendations that these men receive grants or gratuities and that the Minister would not agree to such recommendations?
I do not think so.
