CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - TRUSTEE SAVINGS BANKS.
No decision has yet been arrived at by the Government as to its future policy with regard to the Trustee Savings Banks in the Saorstát. It will be necessary, when occasion permits, to, introduce legislation to clear up the present anomalous position of these Banks. The Trustee Savings Banks will, however, be afforded an opportunity of placing their views before the Government before the introduction of such legislation.
