asked the Minister for Justice whether he can state the names and present ranks of members of the Dublin Metropolitan Gárda who were victimised by the British Government prior to the Treaty by not receiving rightful promotion, although possessing the necessary educational qualifications; and further, whether he can state if these men have since been promoted to their proper ranks and proper places in such ranks in accordance with their service and educational qualifications.
