Vol. 28 No. 7

Public Accounts Committee Report.

Can the President state if he would be prepared to give a day in the near future for the consideration of the report of the Public Accounts Committee?

The Deputy does not mean before the Easter adjournment?

Impossible, I should say, but if possible, I would be prepared to consider it.

I think it would be important to have the report considered before we go into the Estimates again.

I think that there is nothing more important than getting the money that it will be necessary to expend for the year.

But it is just as important to see that the money we have got before has been properly spent.

I am afraid that that has been the case all along the line.
