Vol. 29 No. 18

Business of the Dáil.

I do not intend to interrupt Public Business to-day. I propose to allot Thursday next for a discussion on Item No. 10 on the Order Paper and all matters affecting that, and to give Deputy O'Hanlon time on Wednesday, but not the whole of Private Members' time, for the discussion of his motion which appears as No. 9 on the Order Paper.

It is, therefore, proposed to take Item No. 1 to-day, and when that is disposed of to take the Estimates. Item No. 9 on the Order Paper will be taken in Private Members' time on Wednesday, and it is proposed to take Item No. 10—the motion with regard to a tariff on imported flour—on Thursday in Government time.

Is it proposed to take Private Members' time to-day?

No motion has been made, but that is the suggestion. I understand that Deputy O'Hanlon is not prepared to go on with his motion to-day.

I propose to give Deputy O'Hanlon time on Wednesday for his motion.

Are we to understand then that there will be no Private Members' time to-day?

Are we to understand that we are to get back the amount of Private Members' time that has been taken by the Government?

I am giving back all that has been taken, and perhaps even more.

In full measure?

And brimming over.

The position, therefore, is that there will be no Private Members' time to-day.
