I am aware that at the instance of British colliery proprietors there have been discussions with coal merchants in the Saorstát relating to future selling arrangements for coal. So far as the Saorstát is concerned I have no evidence of any concerted action by the merchants to the prejudice of the public, but the situation is being closely watched.
