asked the Minister for Education whether he will state the number of primary schools in each county in the Saorstát and the number of children on roll in each county.

The following table gives the number of National Schools in operation in each county in the Saorstát, and the number of pupils on the rolls of the schools on the 30th June, 1928—the latest date for which statistics are available:—
