The sanction of a grant for the extension and reconstruction of this school awaited the provision of funds, which has recently been made, for the building and improvement of schools during the current financial year. A grant has now been sanctioned.
The contract has not yet been declared, but it is understood that the Commissioners of Public Works, who have been advised that a grant in the case has been sanctioned, have in hands the preparation of the specifications, etc., with a view to inviting tenders at an early date.
