asked the Minister for Justice if he is aware of the large sum of money annually leaving the Saorstát for investment in British and foreign sweepstakes, and whether he will consider the advisability of introducing proposals for legislation to permit of similar sweepstakes being organised in the Saorstát, in view of the benefits that would be derived by hospitals and other such deserving objects, in addition to providing employment.
