asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state whether the Land Commission valuers arrived at the figure of £8,650, as the sum to be paid for the untenanted land on the Lewis estate (Galway, S. 1990), by putting a price on each townland of that untenanted land, if they did not follow that course, will the Minister state by what method the total price was fixed; if the various items—with townlands—which made up the £8,650 were supplied to the Land Commission, will the Minister state by what authority the Land Commission claim the right to refuse to state the price estimated for the different townlands.
