The movement of potatoes from the scheduled area of County Louth into other parts of the Saorstát is prohibited solely on account of the risk of spreading Black Scab disease. In the event of the question of the movement of potatoes out of that area of County Louth arising in the future, the matter would have to be considered in relation to the arrangements which may be proposed for the movement and disposal of the potatoes, and whether the arrangements would be such as would safeguard the position of the country in regard to Black Scab disease.
