The information asked for at (a) of the Deputy's question can only be obtained by getting a return from the Gárda Síochána throughout the country. The Department of Justice have issued the necessary circular to all Superintendents of the Gárda Síochána, but replies are not yet available. As soon as the complete return is ready, I will furnish the Deputy with a copy, together with the information asked for at (b) and (c) of the question.
