Vol. 32 No. 3

Private Deputies' Business. - Other Motions.

Deputy Ryan's motion.

There were four motions on the Paper, but owing to the unexpected collapse of the last one, I would prefer, if I would be allowed, not to proceed with this until next Wednesday.

I do not know whether it is possible to make arrangements to take it on Wednesday, but I have no objection to its being deferred. This has been a surprise to me. I thought that Deputy Corry's motion would probably take the rest of the time to-day.

So did I.

Mr. Hogan

I have not consulted anybody as to what should follow it

Motion deferred.

Motion by Deputy Joseph X. Murphy.

I had not thought that my motion would be reached to-day. It is a very non-contentious motion, but I would like it to be postponed.

Motion deferred.

Deputy Matthew O'Reilly's motion.

Strike these all out of the list.

I think that there are special circumstances in the case of Deputy O'Reilly and that they should be taken into consideration.

Motion deferred.

The Dáil adjourned at 12.55 p.m. until Wednesday, 30th October, 1929.
